This current Shahs of Sunset season is explosive. And I am weirdly invested in the demise of Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido’s marriage. I just want to know everything that went down in this “he said, she said” battle. The infidelity accusations have been popping off. I have no idea who to believe about anything and I just want to figure out how I feel.

And if I’m this anxious about the marriage of complete strangers, I cannot imagine how these two feel. Well, shit is about to even crazier because Mike’s supposed mistress Emerald Wilson-Bey (who wrote the book My Nights with the Shah) has already come out swinging against both Mike and Jessica in a very damning statement.

Emerald released the following statement: “First of all Jessica Parido is not being honest, she knew about me before they got married. She even must’ve been surprised that he was all of a sudden ready to get married, Pronto !! In the order documented in my book !! After not wanting to get married at all !! So she kind of set herself up for what has played out in her marriage. But nonetheless, Mike is still not the victim that he has been portraying himself out to be. He was so dishonest to us both. And his inability to come clean on any of it is repulsive!!”

While I was reading the statement, I was trying so hard not to correct the grammar in my head. Once I was able to get past that I cannot help wondering what Mike and Jessica are thinking.  I want to know how much Jessica knew about her clearly shady ex husband, especially considering one of her co-stars previously accused her of knowing all along and marrying him anyway. And ugh, I still can’t decide whose side I am in this bitter breakup. But as of now, I guess no one?

It’s cast trip time for Shahs of Sunset tonight. The group is heading off to Belize and I’m willing to bet there won’t be a lot of rest and relaxation going on with this bunch. I’m expecting a lot of drinking and drama!

Before heading off to Belize, Reza Farahan asks Jessica Parido to meet him for drinks. Reza is hoping Jessica will come along for the trip and (supposedly) hopes that it will help Mike and Jessica reconcile. During the meetup Jessica reveals to Reza that she’s not so sure she’s going to go back to Mike at all and opens up about what REALLY went down.

As the group touches down in the Belizean jungle, Mike waits nervously for Jessica to arrive. Alone without her man, MJ contemplates life without Tommy (we already know how this turns out), and GG’s resentments toward Shervin explode during a tense first night dinner, because of course!  It’s not an episode of Shahs of Sunset without an explosive argument, right?

I’m shocked that Golnesa agreed to go anywhere with these people after being accused of faking her R.A. last episode!

Also be sure watch for Reza flinging water around the airplane. Classy, as always.

It’s time to join the Shahs of Sunset for some drama outside of the Sunset Strip – that’s right, it’s cast trip time! But before we take this mess international, let’s see how we got a passport to all this nonsense.

After Asa Soltan Rahmati’s kaftan show that the crew was forced to attend (and only a few ended up watching), the gang heads over to Shervin Roohparvar’s house to drink from red solo cups. Well, almost everyone – Mike Shouhed and estranged wife Jessica Parido are absent after their big blow out at the show. Everyone is talking about what happened and Reza Farahan goes on an incredibly long-winded, misogynistic list of all the horrible names he can think of for women that are involved in the whole Mike and Jessica mess and it doesn’t take long to see where this is going – he’s trying to justify this cast trip to Belize as a way to “help” Mike and Jessica.

OK, can we put Reza’s whole soliloquy on pause for a second? I think us viewers all understand that the reason behind these cast trips are manufactured, but the idea of Reza even suggesting OUT LOUD that he’s planning this trip to try and save or help Mike and Jessica’s marriage is downright stupid. Like this bunch of drunken, self-absorbed hooligans could help themselves find a way out of a wet paper bag, let alone help a failing marriage! Just say you need to get away and move on. Now that I got that off my chest, back to the show. 

Shervin pulls Mercedes “MJ” Javid aside to talk about her breakup with nagged-to-death boyfriend, Tommy Feight. She admits that while he might be a Neanderthal version of Archie Bunker (perfect description – mad I didn’t think of it), she also might have gone a little too far in busting his chops and sabotaging a good thing.

The next night, while waiting for dinner alone, Reza calls Mike to invite him to Belize and also tell him that he’s not only having dinner with Jessica, but he’s going to invite her on the trip to. Mike balks but Reza says he’s not interested in getting involved in their relationship, he just wants to invite Jessica to Belize to get involved in their relationship.

Jessica arrives, looking on guard and Reza invites her. She decides to tell him what we all knew was coming – Jessica isn’t going back to Mike because he cheated on her. Reza isn’t surprised (along with everyone else out there) at all and Jessica reveals just how hurt she is for trusting Mike. In between Reza dishing out sound advice about how Jessica needs to do what is best for her, he stops to order buffalo chicken tenders (what is with the Shahs and buffalo chicken tenders?) and doesn’t miss a beat jumping back into the conversation with some shady remarks about what a bag of crap her soon-to-be ex-husband is. Jessica leaves, buffalo chicken tender-less and Reza calls Mike to report what happened, conveniently leave out what he said about him.

MJ is driving to meet Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi to get their lashes done and calls Reza to talk in the meantime. Reza says he has been googling rheumatoid arthritis and something isn’t adding up. We flash back to MJ, GG, and GG’s entire family at the RA doctor, not getting chemo or anything close to it – GG got a blood draw and will be put on medication to manage her RA. MJ wonders why GG is exaggerating her treatment and well, because GG is GG. Is there any other answer that makes sense?

Reza, Shervin, and Asa meet at Mike’s house to leave for Belize. Adam Neely can’t go because he can’t stand dealing with these animals on an international level has to work. Asa wonders if they can get cornrows when they arrive in Belize, I guess because they would go perfectly with her and Reza’s bedazzled backpacks. They call GG to see if she is meeting them at the airport and she tells them she won’t be on their flight and hangs up. Shervin fills everyone in on his recent conversations with her and they all express doubts about the severity of her RA. Looks like outside of buying throw-back Puma leisure suits fit for a the 1970s Olympic track team, Shervin has also been busy learning about what it would really mean for GG to get radiation, so he’s not buying what she has to say.

They arrive in Belize, minus GG, and take a puddle jumper to their resort. Reza sweats his mustache off and complains about the plane being low class, while spraying everyone with his water bottle, which is definitely an indicator of high class. Of course, their villa style resort is gorgeous and MJ immediately calls Tommy’s voicemail to complain about the humidity and everything else.

GG arrives on a separate flight with Nima, the only guy left willing to put up with her nonsense.  He did suggest the trip but I’m not completely sure why he’s here, given that he’s not a real cast member, but I guess GG needs an ally. Like anyone else suffering from a severe autoimmune disease that they have been crying about for years, GG immediately fires up a ciggy by the pool and demands less ice and more vodka in her drink.

Day turns into night and GG decides to confront Reza about the sh*t he’s been talking behind her back. She is hurt that he would even insinuate that she isn’t as sick as she is claiming to be, all while smoking a cigg and slugging back another glass of vodka. Reza listens patiently but instead of taking any responsibility for what he said, deflects to the fact that he has heard things about her RA from MJ and Shervin. GG goes on to say that her test results are in, she does have to do chemo, she has an “invisible disease”, blah, blah, blah – this is all sounding way too Yolanda Hadid/Brooks Ayers for me. Reza still isn’t 100% sold, even when she asks him to go to treatment with her.

Before dinner, Shervin has finally woken up to the fact that GG is a drama queen, MJ is drunkenly calling supposed ex-boyfriend Tommy who isn’t answering (Do I sense a surprise visit coming?), and Mike is whining about how much he misses his wife. They arrive at dinner and GG’s eyes are already at half-mast so we all know how this is going to turn out (again). MJ wants to play the fun game of going around the table, confessing something, so that it can be burned into the universe and let go. Didn’t we already play this game when they went camping? The guys admit to how much they masturbate on the daily (deep stuff, guys). Nima decides to go in on GG, all while she shoves a piece of food in her mouth, and say that he’s been enabling her. GG swallows as fast as possible to release a barrage of curse words and tell everyone to stop talking about her RA, even though SHE can’t stop talking about her RA.

GG says she’s going to put everyone on blast because they need to worry about their own stuff and decides to turn on Shervin, as she dramatically flips her humidity-destroyed hair extensions. Shervin is having none of this and gets up, in full bro stance, and morphs into some reject from long lost footage of a Jersey Shore fight caught on camera. GG is upset that she thought he had her back and will never trust a man who shaves his arms and chest again. Dinner is over and I am just now seeing that Mike spent the entire dinner in his hotel bathrobe. I guess in Belize, you let it all hang out, both literally and figuratively.

What is with these Bravo shows and all of the accusations about people faking serious illnesses? It is just way too much to handle. Now, Shahs of Sunset star Reza Farahan is accusing Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi of lying about Rheumatoid Arthritis.

It’s hard to know what to believe on these reality TV shows, but you know how GG gets. She is popping off about these accusations. Not only that, but GG’s boy Shervin Roohparvar is stepping up to defend his friend against the hate.

Reza loves to stir shit up for attention and I’m assuming he watches the other shows on Bravo, so I feel like he borrowed this story line to get attention and discredit GG. Just because GG parties all the time and doesn’t have a real job (just like the rest of the cast), that doesn’t mean that she does not have a chronic illness. Sure, this is not the way she should be behaving, but it does not necessarily discredit her when she talks about having RA.

GG took to Instagram to defend herself. She posted a photo of her hand with a pretty lengthy caption: “Oh and I suppose this tattoo I’ve had for years is fake too? RA is not something I use for attention or a storyline for the show… it is the story of the life I’ve been living for the last 6 years and the disease I will have until I can (hopefully) one day go into remission. But I’m grateful for the doubters. It’s because of y’all that more people now know about RA! I love all of my warriors and supporters. #F-ckRA #bRAveWARRIOR.” 

 

Oh and I suppose this tattoo I’ve had for years is fake too? RA is not something I use for attention or a storyline for the show… it is the story of the life I’ve been living for the last 6 years and the disease I will have until I can (hopefully) one day go into remission. Although GG‘s post was full of passion, it did not really provide any proof in regard to the severity of her illness. I’m not really sure what a tattoo has to do with whether or not she has RA, no matter what it says, but I’m sure that GG is just very upset and trying to defend herself.

GG provided “proof” in another Instagram post that included a photo of a prescription bottle with another super long caption: “Bring on the nausea! It’s M-day… To my fellow warriors y’all know how this sh*t feels. But, the relief that I’ve been getting from Rituxan and Methotrexate is worth the nausea. Thank you all for the love and support and believe me I read your messages. I’m proud of all of you for your strength. We are in this together. And yes, I take prescription folic acid. #F-ckRA #bRAveWARRIOR”

Even though Shervin flipped out at GG about her habits in the most recent Shahs of Sunset episode, he maintains that he was only trying to be a good friend. In an interview with Bravo’s Daily Dish, Shervin said, “Sometimes you have somebody’s back and they don’t see it. So your job just becomes double hard and a lot of times, sometimes you got to tell your friend something they don’t want to hear. But that’s what makes you a real friend and I legitimately care about her.” I don’t feel like Shervin was questioning GG’s medical issues, but that he just wanted her to get her shit together and take better care of herself so she can finally feel better.

Shervin asserts that he believes GG about her medical troubles and that he has witnessed her struggles first hand: “I was there for her surgery because of the scar tissue had to come out because she couldn’t close her fist anymore.”

So what does he think about Reza coming for GG over and over again about her RA diagnosis? Shervin said, “So it’s a very difficult thing she’s going through. I think that she doesn’t necessarily exaggerate; I think that she is sitting in doctor’s office hearing a bunch of words and terminology that she doesn’t necessarily know and then she takes these little power words like ‘radiation,’ ‘chemotherapy,’ and she’s scared of them. And they’re the ones that are most prevalent in her mind when she thinks back and that’s what she shares.” 

He then clarified the type of treatment GG has gone through so far. “What she’s had is, it’s similar to chemotherapy. It’s a drug that’s used in conjunction with chemotherapy during chemotherapy.” So is GG exaggerating her illness, or is she just not communicating effectively?

Tonight the Shahs of Sunset cast is still in Belize for some more drinking, drama, and delusional denials!

Golnesa, Shervin, Nima and Mike take an excursion through the rainforest and take a tube tour through caves. Mike tries to unwind and forget about the latest Jessica drama (her calling out his cheating ways). 

Mike spends some time with Reza, Asa and Shervin back at the resort where they ask about the latest rumors.  Mike tries to worm his way out of the cheating allegations again, saying that if Jessica hears rumors enough times, she believes them as truth. And he says that the reason she believes this particular cheating claim is because she read a message from a girl to Mike that claimed they had slept together and Jessica blew up.  Mike’s twisted reasoning is that he didn’t even have the number saved – so that should be some sort of proof he wasn’t with this girl.  Huh?  Asa asks him straight up if he has EVER cheated since marrying Jessica and he says no, but his body language (and his wife) is saying the opposite. Mike gets defensive and flees the pool.

According to Bravo’s preview, Mike is going to reveal a “dark secret” tonight. Will this be some ploy to get sympathy and understanding over his cheating? Or an attempt to distract from what he’s done? We’ll have to wait and see.

Shahs of Sunset’s Mike Shouhed finally admitted to cheating on Jessica Parido in the last few minutes of tonight’s episode after swearing for the entire season that it was untrue.  He was a guest on Watch What Happens Live where he explained a little more about why he lied for so long and also continued his delusion that Brandi Glanville was hitting on him when they were on the show together and now thinks he gave her new show higher ratings.

What made Mike finally confess after lying all season? “I wasn’t lying. I was having marital problems with me and my wife and I was trying to keep it under wraps, but being on reality TV you don’t really have that freedom.  Me and my wife are having problems and I don’t want the world to know so I’m labeled a liar. I decided it’s time for me to come clean because there’s so much speculation.”

Mike adds that he heard rumors and he was tired of them. “I heard rumors that Jessica wanted to leave earlier. I even heard that I was gay and that’s why Jessica left. I mean, there’s rumors flying everywhere because you have six Persian friends talking..” 

Andy asks if there was just one affair or if there was more than one. “No, it was one affair before I got engaged to Jessica and it was something she found out about after we got married.”

How do Mike’s parents feel about his breakup with Jessica? “They’re very upset about it. Jessica was like a daughter to them and I screwed up. They’re upset with me, mostly with me.”

The first caller asks Mike if regrets any of the lies he told about cheating on Jessica and does he think Reza meddling in the relationship helped or hurt? “I regret what I did. The aftermath was me trying to protect my relationship with Jessica so that people don’t pass judgement on either one of us. And I feel that Reza’s meddling caused problems. It did because anytime an outsider gets involved in your relationship, it’s not warranted.”

Andy asks if he talked to Reza about the meddling. He says no and that he was in a depression and if we look at the show, he was fat and skinny and all over the place with his weight because of that depression.

Is Mike still paying off his expensive wedding? He laughs and says no, it’s all paid for already. Andy asks about the expensive photo album and Mike reveals that he never got it.  Andy is confused because it was on his coffee table, but Mike claims that was the engagement album.

A caller asks Mike why they are all questioning GG’s illness instead of supporting her. “Absolutely, you’re right. You have a group of Persian friends who are very critical of each other and Golnesa I definitely think is sick but maybe not to the degree that she is claiming, possibly. I don’t know, but when you’re smoking and drinking and doing things that make it seem like you’re not sick, people pass judgement because they don’t know how to be sensitive. I didn’t because I was dealing with my own problems and I wanted to be by her side because she needs it.”

On the After Show a caller asks if now that Mike is out in the open about his cheating, does he still stand by his claims that MJ is lying about why she didn’t go to his wedding? (She previously said that it was because she learned of his cheating but Mike has said she didn’t come because he wouldn’t let her bring a guest) “100%. She didn’t come because I didn’t want her to invite Vida. MJ had no idea, no one did because this was just something that happened and it was a big mistake and I tried to keep it under wraps but that damn iCloud.”  As a sidenote: Many of us bloggers knew about it and were getting emails about it LONG before that, so he was doing a terrible job keeping it under wraps.

A caller asks about the last time Mike was on WWHL, he was on with Brandi Glanville and then later claimed in a Tweet that she wanted to hook up with him,  which she fiercely denied.  Mike tells the caller that Brandi was touching him the whole time and called him annoying and that even Andy commented on the flirting.  Andy doesn’t really remember that part. Mike then says Brandi should be happy because he gave her ratings for her new show, Famously Single. (Mike should look up those viewers numbers before he makes those claims..)

In case you missed it last week, the Shahs of Sunset are busy drinking and fighting their way through the jungles of Belize and there’s a lot of reason for tensions to be running high.

Mercedes “MJ” Javid is still trying to process her (supposed) breakup with boyfriend, Tommy Feight, who I am actually starting to miss. There, I said it. Mike Shouhed is quickly losing hope that estranged wife, Jessica Parido, will make an appearance in Belize after an awkward invite from resident sh*t-stirrer, Reza Farahan. Finally, not to be out done in the “drama that doesn’t really need to be so dramatic” category, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi went off on her last ally, Shervin Roohparvar, when he got tired of watching her pound drinks and smoke ciggs and simultaneously complain about rheumatoid arthritis treatments that may or may not be exaggerated.

Another day dawns in Belize and that means not a moment of sunrise can be wasted on say, enjoying vacation. Not when you’re a hungover Shah. GG immediately high tails it over to Shervin and Nima’s casita, with MJ in tow and wearing a pretty ironic t-shirt that says something about peace, prosperity, and inner joy. She confronts him about their argument last night and whines that she feels closer to him than anyone else. The anger quickly dies down and Shervin just wants her to talk to him about it, rather than come in hot and start yelling. GG says fair enough, they hug it out, and since she hasn’t started drinking yet, that all seems fine and dandy.  

MJ goes to talk to Asa Soltan Rahmati about how she has blown it with Tommy. She admits that she turned into a nag monster once he moved in with her and is upset that she hasn’t been able to get a hold of him since she left for Belize. MJ is starting to question just how far she’s gone but Asa does little to help with advice, just reinforces that MJ has very Vida-like tendencies.

At breakfast, the crew decides if they want to go cave tubing or stay at the hotel and get a massage. Mike is sad because Jessica should be here – she loves this kind of stuff. “This stuff” being the outdoors, drinking, and eating ceviche. His words, not mine. He’s hopeful that the draw of assorted raw fish on a plate and his promises of not cheating for a few days in the jungle will lure her to surprise him in Belize. It doesn’t but there is a surprise guest – it’s Tommy! He seemed to genuinely miss MJ and proclaims that he loves her more than the Mets. While I’m pretty convinced their breakup didn’t even happen, I’m too high off the cuteness of their reunion to care right now.

Reza, Asa, and Mike stay in their shared villa so they can talk nonstop about ceviche. Shervin comes to hang out and mentions that they were supposed to be here for Mike and Jessica. Reza goes into his dinner with Jessica and what she said – that Mike cheated on her and that’s why they are not together. Mike, like the true lying scumbag that he is, claims that she is just listening to rumors and saw a text message that meant nothing but she was angry enough to end their marriage over it. Nice try, Mike.

Asa asks Mike point blank if he’s done her wrong since they got married and Mike stumbles, before righting the ship and saying he didn’t cheat, specifically. When a producer asks him in his talking head, he claims that these are all allegations from Jessica and the entire world knows he’s married. Like that ever stopped people from cheating! Also, Mike is convinced that the entire world knows who he is (LOL). Even though Reza just claimed he stuck up for Mike when it came to Jessica’s cheating allegations, he reminds Mike that he does have a lot of disgusting, flirty ways. Nailed it! Mike gets mad and leaves the pool in a huff. He decides it would be better to go cave tubing – the ceviche just isn’t worth being confronted with the truth interrogated by Reza.

Asa and Reza decide they are going to bust in on MJ and Tommy while they have sex, privately in their room, listening to Jewel and taping the whole thing on her phone. Asa is already distracted with this new project of photographing couples to celebrate beauty or some crap like that. As MJ tries to contain her ummm, flotation devices, we get treated to some of the shots Asa has snapped of the two and I cannot contain my snark. And dammit, I won’t. Asa should stick to kaftans or diamond water or turbans or singing or performance art or whatever the hell she thinks she is better at. Granted, her subjects weren’t the most inspiring since they could best be described as two lumps of clay in a pool, but still.

Once Asa is done, she and Reza head over to the spa to get a massage, eat ceviche, and not STFU about it. Asa stops talking about it long enough to discuss what happened with the Mike cheating rumors that Reza revealed. They decide that Reza is going to confront him about it like it’s any of his business.
 
BTW, I’m skipping over the whole cave tubing part with Shervin, GG, and Mike because it’s boring and I’m sick of listening to Mike talk about how much he has grown as a person.

Now that Reza and Asa have gotten their massages and set their evil plan in motion to confront Mike, Reza calls Jessica and tells her that Mike is denying cheating. I’m not sure why Jessica would want to talk to Reza about this at all but hey, she has no love left for Mike and the flood gates of truth have opened up so she tells him her side of the story. She was doing her resume on his computer and an iMessage popped up that was new, but dated back weeks and months in history. As in, all the way back to the week after they got engaged. It was a trail of messages with Mike making plans with this woman from where to meet and what she should wear.

Reza pretends to be shocked and Asa just shakes her turbaned head. He vows to confront Mike under the ridiculous guise that he wants to talk sense into Mike and help reconcile his marriage. Jessica, who is probably contractually obligated to stay on the phone, stops being bored long enough to tell Reza she is NOT going back to him. Reza says he’s going to confront Mike anyway. Jessica is basically like, “ok, whatever can I go back to getting my nails done and finding a new man, now?” and hangs up to do just that.

GG, Shervin, Mike, and Nima come back from cave tubing and Reza decides now would be a great time to trap Mike in his room and confront him about his call with Jessica. Reza tells him exactly what Jessica told him and Mike just denies it. Reza has turned into a hostage negotiator and lists out the demands Jessica has but Mike doesn’t want to play ball. He knows that Reza is getting pleasure out of his pain and drama. Mike tries to shut it down but Reza continues to bait him by talking about it out loud whole and following him around even though Mike yells how he is done, done, DONE, DONE!! He’s starts to pack his bags to leave. Without a plate of ceviche in front of her, Asa just stands there in her bathrobe, unsure of what to do.

Mike storms over to Shervin’s casista and demands a cigarette. Reza follows him over, like the drama heat seeking missile that he is and Mike claims not to be mad at him, he’s just how he handled things. Once again, we flip to Mike’s talking head where a producer asks him again if he cheated on Jessica. This time, Mike uses the obvious excuse that he’s not that stupid. OK, then.

As Mike wanders around smoking, Reza fills in the rest of the gang about what Jessica said when he called her. Mike comes back and asks to speak with Reza privately. He says he understands that Reza is just trying to help and he appreciates it (ummm, really?). He finally comes clean and admits that there were text messages and he effed up. Mike doesn’t get specific with Reza but cut to another talking head and a producer asking him YET AGAIN if he cheated on Jessica? Mike says it’s true. That’s right – it’s true and Mike has finally admitted to cheating on Jessica.
 
Is there anyone out there left who is surprised? I’ll wait.

This week on Shahs of Sunset, Mike Shouhed finally fessed up to cheating on his wife, Jessica Parido. But during his appearance on Watch What Happens Live, he downplayed the extent of the cheating. And Jessica Parido was not having it!

Jessica took to Twitter to vent about Mike’s delusions. On WWHL he claimed that he only cheated with one person and that it was before they got engaged. Jessica calls B.S. on that.  She Tweeted, “Crazy how many people come out of the woodworks once the truth is out. Anyone else?? Come out come out wherever you are.”

And then she declared how glad she is that she got away from Mike and his lies. “Thank you God for giving me the strength to leave his lying cheating ass when I did. I will give my ALL to the man that deserves it one day.”  Adding, “One thing is for certain, the man has zero standards. Come one! Come All! It’s fair game everyone! #sharingiscaring #exceptwhenitsyourD*ck.”

She later took to Instagram to share that Mike SHOULD be sorry that he lost her for good. “I would cry if I lost Me too Only a few more weeks and this long exhausting chapter of my life will be over. Opening my life up to the world has been one of the most trying things I’ve ever done. I am looking forward to the future and building the life I want and deserve with someone who reciprocates the same. Thank you for all of the support and love.”

Speaking of Mike’s disastrous Watch What Happens Live appearances..  He and Brandi Glanville are still sparring over whether or not she wanted to hook up with him when they were guests together on the show last year. 

For a quick background for those of you not keeping up with the delusions of Mike Shouhed – when Brandi was on WWHL a few weeks back, Mike Tweeted out that Brandi tried to get with him last year when they appeared on the show together. Brandi was enraged and called him a liar since she had zero interest in his obnoxious ass and that she was there (in the Clubhouse) with a boyfriend.  Mike is still insisting otherwise – because she was flirty and touched his arm and stuff.

Mike talked about it on WWHL this week and is still talking about it late this week. He shared with Daily Dish, “Brandi was on Watch What Happens Live and decided to talk smack about me, when months prior, [or] whenever it was we were on together, she couldn’t keep her hands off of me and was telling me how funny I am and how cool I am and all this other nonsense. And my whole thing is, is be real, be real if you’re in someone’s presence or if you’re not in the their presence because I’m a human being.”

He then has the balls to say that HE is a man of integrity (this from the guy who lied all season to everyone) and that Brandi should follow his example of integrity.  I’ll be back in a minute, I have a stitch in my side from laughing too hard.  Mike spewed, “It’s funny, I say this: I have integrity. I’ve made mistakes in my life, I’ve learned from them. I should have never been unfaithful to my wife, which she wasn’t my wife when that whole situation happened, but I learned a lot from that mistake because if you’re gonna do the crime, you’re gonna have to do the time. Now, I’m serving my time. I’ve decided I won’t lie, I won’t cheat, I won’t talk dirty about people because eventually it’ll come back. This is a very small world we live in. Brandi’s a great example of someone who’s not being [honest]. She lacked integrity. But she should be happy I tweeted what I tweeted about her because I gave her some love for new show [Famously Single].” 

Oh Mike, just let it go. I mean, you did tell us that you had women throwing themselves at you, so why are you obsessing over Brandi?

TELL US – DO YOU BELIEVE JESSICA THAT IT WAS MORE THAN ONE CHEATER INSTANCE WITH MIKE? DO YOU BELIEVE MIKE THAT BRANDI TRIED TO HOOK UP WITH HIM?

After a break last week for the holiday, Shahs of Sunset is back tonight with an all new episode. 

The cast is still in Belize and still attempting to enjoy the trip despite all the fighting and judgement over GG’s drinking and supposed exaggerating. Mike Shouhed continues to feel sorry for himself over driving his wife away, telling his co-stars at dinner that “people make mistakes. Men make mistakes because they think with their dool (penis).”  Mike declares that he’s not giving up on Jessica and enlists Asa to help him woo her back.

The group tries horseback riding and Reza Farrahan dazzles us with more awkward commentary like “It’s not that odd to see Persians on horses. I know you guys wish we were on camels right now, but we’re on horses.”

During tonight’s episode they’ll head back home to L.A. where Reza takes one more swing at stand up comedy. I’d give him props for not giving up, but when you fail that spectacularly, one try is PLENTY.

OK, Shahs of Sunset fans (and haters), we had one whole week to recover from Mike Shouhed finally admitting to cheating on estranged wife, Jessica Parido, during vacation in Belize with the rest of the Shahs. While none of us viewers were really surprised, I wasn’t sure how this would play out on the show and was a little annoyed at Bravo for making me wait a whole additional week to find out. As if the local fireworks were even close to as entertaining as the fireworks going off within this group of numnuts!

As we rejoin the Shahs in Belize the next morning, Asa Soltan Rahmati and Reza Farahan are catching up on how the night ended. Asa reveals that after seeing Mike unravel, she went out clubbing with GG Gharachedaghi and Shervin Roohparvar, dancing until the wee morning hours. This fuels Reza’s assumption that GG is faking her rheumatoid arthritis. He’s also not done being two-faced and meddling in Mike’s marital business and slimes his way over to Mike’s room to tell him that he supports him. Mike falls for the fakeness and expresses gratitude that his friends are always there for him, even in bad times.

The group decides to go horseback riding to some Mayan ruins and Mercedes “MJ” Javid thought stiletto heels would be an appropriate shoe to wear for such an occasion. Nice try, MJ, but wearing stilettos isn’t going to make you appear any more glamorous as your sweat your way through your tank top and hair extensions on the back of a horse.

Once they arrive at the ruins, everyone starts climbing the steps and GG, full of booze and misplaced anger, lags behind and complains that the group isn’t compassionate to the fact that her RA is holding her back from climbing at a normal pace. Given the amount of drinking, partying and ceviche-eating the Shahs have done on this trip, I’m surprised ANY of them are moving at more than a turtle’s pace up those stairs! After a few spiritual epiphanies at the top, everyone heads down on a steep slope, which was no easy feat. Ever the wordsmith, Tommy Feight says he was so scared, he almost “peed like a girl”. Whatever that means.

As everyone sits down to cool off at the bottom, Asa asks GG if she would be willing to pose for her dumb series of couples photographs, musing that even though GG is single, she fits into the narrative of what it means to be a couple. Asa might have gotten a little too high off the spiritual realness at the top of that Mayan temple – what the eff is she talking about?

Reza has no problem pointing this out and asks Asa why he’s taking a picture of GG by herself, which quickly escalates to a screaming match between him and GG. Clearly, this wasn’t the real issue at hand but Reza is just sick of GG and her toxicity in general. He meanly mocks her RA (not cool) and also reminds her that she has issues with everyone (fair and accurate). GG won’t back down and says that if Reza can’t support her in a positive way, then he shouldn’t be consumed with bringing her down in a negative one. That’s actually a pretty well made point but we all know that if Reza actually did that, it would make him a decent human being, which he is not.

Later that night, the group sits down to a private dinner at the resort and not even a platter of ceviche can break the ice. GG is in full hot-mess mode and slurry from mixing pills and too much wine. When the talk turns to Mike and his relationship issues, GG announces this conversation is too boring for her since it’s not about her and angrily stumbles off to have another cigarette. Cousin Nima joins her to try and talk some sense into her but to no avail. GG stumbles off to bed while the rest of the group ends the night as well. That’s a wrap for this group trip and I’m sure the entire country of Belize can relax and replenish their ceviche supply now that the Shahs are gone.

Back in LA, MJ wants to help Mike, who says he is trying to get Jessica back because she is family and you don’t give up on family. You know what you also don’t do to family? CHEAT ON THEM. MJ takes him to a flower shop and he picks out a large quantity of roses to send to Jessica, none of which will change the fact that he’s a cheating scumbag.

GG goes to visit her parents, tell them about her trip to Belize and defensively complain about her RA. GG says she is in too much pain and needs to do chemo but GG’s mom disagrees. She thinks GG should try being more strict with her diet for an extended time period and GG gets angry instead of even attempting to hear her poor mother out. Let me spare you the rest but basically, GG says she is tired – tired of not sleeping and being a bitch all the time because she is in pain. Her words, not mine, people. I’m pretty tired too – tired of GG and her tantrums.

Over to Reza’s condo, which looks more like the set of a 70s game show than an apartment, Adam Neely is happy to have his husband back from his trip. Reza is busy working on his jokes (SNORT) and reading them to his dog, who has the same reaction as the rest of us, which is uncomfortable silence.

Although Reza bombed at the Improv, his ego won’t let him admit that he just isn’t funny, so it’s time for him to stink up another venue. God, I feel so bad for the audience that paid money to get into this comedy club. A few comedians get up and do a great job because well, they are actually funny….and then Reza gets up. Not only are his jokes not funny, but having a whole routine centered around the fact that he’s Persian, but insisting on speaking in an over exaggerated, stereotypical urban accent is downright offensive. When exactly does Reza talk like that any other time? Surely not when he’s talking about how much money he spends on gold and cars. Finally, he tells a joke that supposedly wins over the crowd but I’m not convinced and think that was just pity editing on the show’s part.

After that mess, we are treated to another one: GG and her doctor’s appointment to get chemo for her RA. GG has her whole family and some friends there to support her while she sits in the chair getting an IV drip for six hours. One of those friends being Anita Gohari, who GG previously crapped all over in past seasons, but is now a good enough friend to sit through her chemo treatments. As GG wearily rolls her head while sitting in the chair getting treatment, the doctor comes in to make sure everything is going well.

Asa uses this opportunity to ask the doctor about the care GG is receiving and he clarifies that it is the same chemotherapy a cancer patient would use, but a different level and therefore, specifically used for RA and types of lymphoma. Asa asks what GG can do to help herself get better and when he says she can stop smoking, the head drooping/all around weariness stops and GG is suddenly wide awake, alert and back to her nasty, defensive self. As GG jumps out of the chair with the energy of someone who cares more about the appearances of treatment as opposed to the actual treatment itself, the doctor scurries away from the drama. Asa tries to talk to GG about quitting smoking but it’s pointless. GG doesn’t want to, so that’s the end of that and this episode.

Reza Farahan has been trashing former friend Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi all season long on Shahs of Sunset (on and off the screen). GG admits that she was furious watching Reza call her illness fake and let’s not forget his dramatic and nasty show of falling over and clutching his heart, making a mockery of her as she revealed that her heart is being affected by her R.A..

Golnesa blasted, “This mother f—- wants to really hurt me so badly. Not just call me a whore, or a bitch, or whatever that he’s done over the years. But to tell me that something I’m suffering from is a fake thing, and my parents are liars, and the whole thing is a scam? The minute he mentioned he feels sorry for my parents, I lost my s—.”

On tonight’s episode GG heads to dinner with Shervin to talk about what went down with Reza in Belize. GG shares with Shervin that Reza was completely out of line with his criticism of her R.A., especially since he hasn’t been at a single doctor’s appointment with her in six years. So where he is coming up with this questioning and doubting on its severity, she wonders?

Also on tonight’s episode, Mike throws a shoe launch party. Also, Mike is late, late, late for said launch party and might miss the entire thing over heavy traffic.

At the launch, Reza takes every opportunity to throw digs at GG, making snide comments about everything from her resting bitch face and more. Good times tonight!

Tonight, Shahs of Sunset finally gave us all a much needed break from all the arguing and drunken booze-festing that our Shahs are known for. Instead of talking about illness and who is being a loyal friend, there was a lot of talk about personal growth and shoes. How do those things tie together? They don’t but never mind that, let’s pretend they do.

Reza Farahan goes to lunch with his mom. She’s thrilled about his recent marriage to Adam Neely. Despite her conservative upbringing, all she cares about is Reza being happy and besides, she loves Adam too. Reza wants her to come to Oklahoma to meet Adam’s family and she politely declines, saying she has been there once. I guess that was enough. Reza gets emotional just talking about how much he loves his mom and this is a really nice change of pace for Reza – he should do more bonding with his mother and less being a terrible friend to pretty much everyone.

Now for the moment you have all been waiting for (at least I have): Mike Shouhed’s shoe empire is happening and to prove it, Mike is throwing around a bunch of money. When he is upset, he spends money but when he is happy, he also spends money. So basically, he has just been pooping money into his shoes. We join Mike in his business partner’s office, with a desk heaped with shoe prototypes. Mike is busy having his mind blown that all of his random shoe doodlings are coming to life and my mind is blown that this dumbass is starting another business, let alone a shoe line. I haven’t heard this much talk about shoes on a TV show since Al Bundy on Married…With Children.

Mercedes “MJ” Javid is nurturing her relationship with lovable lug boyfriend, Tommy Feight, after their fake breakup and subsequent makeup. She’s just been staying home, cooking for him, and going on dates to the batting cages. Tommy brings up babies and says the batting cages would be a great place to take their kids eventually. MJ isn’t so sure. She doesn’t want to feel pressured or rushed into getting pregnant since she’s not sure her relationship is there yet. She also wants a ring first. Fair enough. MJ seems to be having a rare moment of clarity by not rushing into things.

Reza, Adam, and Asa Soltan Rahmati go to Palm Springs to recharge. Reza also has some business to do during this trip; he wants to purchase a property to rent out and invest in his future with Adam. Naturally, the inside of the house they are looking at isn’t up to their incredibly high taste for all things fashionable, which might be a little easier to understand if they weren’t dressed like a bunch of weirdos. Reza is wearing chino shorts with bright red driving loafers, Adam looks like Charlie Brown, and Asa is in a fortuneteller getup, complete with yellow turban and floor length parrot-print kaftan.

Over to another fashion disaster, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi is meeting Shervin Roohparvar for lunch and she clearly skinned a Muppet to make the vest she is wearing. Obviously, they came to talk about their little blow up in Belize and before Shervin even arrives, GG plops down and orders a complicated all-liquor drink and guacamole. Shervin has his own fashion statement to make and I think he was going for downed fighter pilot hiding in the woods to avoid capture? He has on black combat boots, some kind of ripped pleather pants, and then an oversized nylon jacket with emblems stitched on. All in black, all terrible.

Shervin wants to know what pushed GG over the edge in Belize and she says her real issue is Reza and his obsession with her health. As she explains what she thinks of Reza and what happened between them, it’s exhausting to watch her curse and hand clap her way through, trying to express an actual emotion. Why can’t she just talk like an adult?? No wonder no one wants to have a conversation with her! I’m not sure why Shervin is even trying but I think it’s because of that picture of his food he was supposed to send his friend.

Later, Shervin is about to FaceTime someone and it turns out, it’s Annalise, the Australian beauty from a few episodes ago. Everyone (including Shervin) thought the date bombed but apparently, Annalise was bored enough to continue talking to him. She actually lives in Australia, so I guess it’s not that surprising that she’s fine with the least amount of romantic contact possible with him.

Asa drops by Mike’s house, which I am convinced is a glammed out trailer, and Mike shows her some of the shoes he has been sinking all of his money into. The second one he busts out is hot pink with electric blue laces! I actually snorted so loud, my dog got offended. Because it’s Asa, the talk turns spiritual and Asa is convinced Mike has made a huge change and has grown so much spiritually. Really? You mean in the last few days?

Asa urges him to go back to estranged wife, Jessica Parido, and tell her that he “gets it” now. He was thinking more along the lines of an email, where he will tell her that he’s a changed man. Nothing says grand gesture of a man who has grown spiritually like an email, folks. Demonstrating just how deep he is now, Mike gets caught up on how to actually start the email – does he say “Dear Jessica” or “Dear My Love”? He doesn’t know and Asa basically writes the one liner of the email for him so he can send it.

MJ and Reza meet at an extremely busy ice cream joint to do what they do best – meddle in other people’s business. Apparently, there have been rumblings of Jessica being out and about, looking fabulous and not crying over Mike. Imagine that, Jessica isn’t sitting around waiting for her scumbag of a cheating husband to change. Both MJ and Reza try and call Jessica, but she changed her number and they can’t reach her. Also imagine that, Jessica didn’t want to continue a relationship with the people who were never really her friends anyway.

Because of the dramatic music, I know something bad is happening – what could it be??? Oh, it’s Mike’s shoes being detained in customs in Mexico on the day of his shoe launch. Mike and his business partner are driving down to rescue them from Tijuana or something and I am left wondering if “shoes” is just a code word for drugs.

Finally, Mike and his business partner get the call that the shoes are across the border and they can go intercept them somewhere in Cali to hopefully make it back in time for the shoe launch at Kitson. Everyone meets at what looks like a Holiday Inn parking lot and it’s a shoe disaster as they exchange the precious cargo from one trunk to another.

Back in LA, the Kitson party has already started and the only people who have showed up are Mike’s friends, family, and a few other randos who probably wanted free food and booze. There is no Mike and no shoes and as Mike drives back, he actually starts to blame Jessica for this because in his twisted mind, if they were together, someone from his “team” would be handling things in LA and keeping him updated. Umm, Mike, that is not your wife’s role. Remember when she told you she thought the shoe business was a bad idea and you told her not to worry and you would handle it all? I do! Being the changed man/true business person that he is, Mike also refuses to update anyone, including the host of the event, where he is for his own launch party.

Twenty minutes before the party is over, Mike shoes up, I mean, shows up and makes a speech about how he El Chapo’d his shoes across the Mexican border. He seems to think that barely making it to his own launch party and talking about how his shoes were last minute customs confiscation magnets is still a successfully evening. Speaking of success, Kitson went out of business a few months later and Mike’s shoes are homeless again. Bummer, I’m sure there is a huge market out there for hot pink shoes that may or may not have the sole stuffed with illegal drugs.

Pretty much every show on Bravo has a story line about cast members criticizing someone’s medical diagnosis, so I was sadly not at all surprised when the people on Shahs of Sunset came for Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi for partying even though she has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

On some level, I get why people would say that drinking and illness don’t go hand in hand – obviously – but it is a more complicated situation than that. GG opened up about why she turned to alcohol to help her cope as well as why she thinks her cast mates are criticizing her illness.

GG spoke out in an interview with People to shed light on why she was drinking so much while filming the current Shahs of Sunset season.

GG said that she really started to party hard, err, harder when she realized that she had to undergo chemotherapy. Yes, that doesn’t make total sense on the surface, but this is how she justified it.

“I wasn’t mentally ready for it,” she admitted. “I turned to the bottle for pain and mental management. I was drinking a lot. And when I say ‘a lot,’ I mean I was literally waking up in the morning and downing a bottle of vodka … I just wanted to numb out.”

Obviously, excessive alcohol consumption is not the best way to deal with any situation, but it seems like GG has learned from this dark time. GG explained why she ended up checking herself into a treatment center, “It became obvious that it was a problem. I just wanted to be able to cope without using alcohol.”

As expected, GG’s contradictory behavior is a major plot line on the show. I assumed that she was annoyed and appalled by this, but she is somehow seeing the positive in this not-so-flattering portrayal of herself. GG explained, “I should be grateful to these people. They gave more attention to RA! Now more people know what RA is, they’re Googling it. Like, wow, this disease that so many people have never heard of is now getting so much attention. That’s amazing.” That is definitely one good thing to come out of people questioning the symptoms of her illness. 

With that said, GG is not at all surprised that Reza Farahan and the rest of the cast have made her medical problems a part of their story line this year. GG shared, “The issue was – and is an ongoing pattern season after season – whenever Reza goes against someone, he takes all his puppets along with him. So right now, because the mustache is against me, the others kind of wag their tails, like bitches.”

Honestly though. Now that Reza is married and he is getting along well with Adam, what else does he have to talk about aside from other people’s lives?

If you thought this season of Shahs of Sunset was all about divorce drama and questioning someone’s health status, you are in the same cynical boat I’m in. But Shahs isn’t all doom and gloom and this episode (sort of) proves it with the perfect formula to rally bored reality show fans everywhere: an overly staged marriage proposal! OK, I still have to be mostly cynical when watching; it’s just the nature of the beast.

We start at Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s condo, where she is busy tidying up her clothing racks so she can have a yard sale. Shervin Roohparvar comes to watch, presumably because he has nothing better to do all day and hasn’t fulfilled his camera time for the week. MJ explains that she needs to make more room for boyfriend, Tommy Feight, who I thought was already moved in anyway? She goes through the hangers and takes us for a long walk down sad memory lane and describes how her clothes remind her of times in her life. Like the time she wore this dress, Vida was berating her at a table full of people and making her cry. Yeah, probably time to get rid of that one.

It must be a slow day in the kaftan business because Asa Soltan Rahmati stops by as well. The three of them throw all of MJ’s clothes in the back of a Dodge minivan and head off to the Valley, where all of MJ’s clothes will actually be appreciated and stand a chance of being sold.

Still in bed at God knows what hour, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi describes herself as busy all day with all the shopping, getting her nails done, and getting massages she has to do. Scoff all you want but trashy club outfits and acrylic claw-like nails don’t just appear on their own, people! She says she wouldn’t even have time for a job and obviously, hundreds of unsold GG’s hair extensions are sitting in a warehouse, probably right next to all the rotting Kim Zolciak wigs that never made it to market.

Before heading back to bed, GG’s acupuncturist comes by to help manage her rheumatoid arthritis and GG compares the euphoric feeling of acupuncture to heroin.

The minivan of broken dreams/clothes has made it to the Valley, along with MJ’s clothing racks, so she can display her clothes in the classiest way possible considering it’s a yard sale that actually takes place on the curb. Before they even have the racks finished and all of her shoes thrown on the grass, we see a few buyers lurking around, who turn out to be teenage white girls, who clearly don’t understand European sizing and have no idea these clothes will be way too big for them. MJ acts upset and makes a big show of pretending to stop the shoppers because she can’t let go of her precious things but finally submits and sells one of her cardigans to a grown man.

Reza Farahan and Adam Neely head down to the county service center so Adam can change his last name. Oh wait, sorry, so Reza could change his last name for him, whether he agrees with it or not. Clearly, Adam wasn’t on board with it. While filling out paperwork, the clerk informs them that even though they had a surprise wedding ceremony on a whim because Reza felt like it, that doesn’t actually equate to a legal marriage in the eyes of the state. Reza acts frustrated but I think we all know even he isn’t dumb enough to think he could have be considered legally married before actually getting a marriage license.

Asa is wandering around the side of a busy road with a camera and skin tight dress, waiting for Mike Shouhed and his dogs to show up so she can photograph him. He was supposed to be doing this couples photoshoot with his wife, Jessica Parido, but clearly that ship has sailed. Asa should just call her latest project what it really is: pictures of the only people willing to sit through another one of her kooky ideas. Mike, dressed up in full cholo uniform complete with giant pit bull, talks about how the photoshoot is like a funeral for what his relationship. #deepthoughts

MJ calls GG so she can invite her to her Renewal Party and GG is as just as confused as I am. What exactly is MJ renewing? This all feels very Ramona Singer but whatever, MJ needs to have a party to commemorate her life moving in a different direction. How self-absorbed do you have to be to throw a party every time you do something in life like give away some old clothes that don’t fit?

Speaking of another useless commemoration, Reza and Adam have called Asa and her gold turban over to remarry them, as in totally for reals and legal this time. MJ comes too and they sit on their hideous seventies game show couch to exchange vows.

Shervin meets Tommy to go engagement ring shopping so he can surprise MJ by proposing at her Renewal Party. Tommy picks out a ring in less than 30 seconds and reveals to Shervin that it’s a gamble on whether or not MJ will say yes or not. He did get permission from her father, which wins major points in my book, but he doesn’t know how everyone else in her life will feel about the proposal.

Five minutes later, it’s time to buy the ring and even with an adjusted lower price, Tommy doesn’t know how to negotiate a deal so Shervin feels the need to step in and show off his Persian haggling skills. Like any of this matters since this is so obviously not the same ring MJ was seen flashing around when they announced they were engaged in the press.

The day of the Renewal Party, MJ is picking out her outfit, flower crown, and bouquet in front of Tommy. She is pretty much dressed up like a low-key bohemian bride for this whole shin dig, which we now find out is at a cemetery. This is probably the worst party planning to date from Bravo and I can’t help but be annoyed at how lazy the producers are getting. MJ tries to explain the cemetery bit, how she’s using a symbolic casket to bury her past, blah blah blah, but I can’t even be bothered by the time she arrives and gets to her choir and chicken coops full of doves to be released.

Everyone shows up and Mike and GG agree how weird this whole thing is. Right there with you guys on that one! Vida asks Mike where Jessica is and instead of answering like a grown man, he snaps by asking where MJ’s dad is. She keeps asking and the fight quickly escalates to a back and forth as to why they have both been left by their significant others.

Mike says he’s had enough of Vida mistreating MJ, but let’s face it, this is obviously about her pushing his buttons. The Persian mafia quickly jumps in to drag Mike away and remind him how culture will not allow him to disrespect his elders. Really, Tommy is the voice of reason here, explaining to Mike that he thinks he is right but it’s neither the time nor the place. Some things are sacred and apparently, a made-up Renewal Ceremony at a cemetery being filmed for a reality show is one of those things.

MJ arrives and is accompanied to the casket by her choir of hummers. She starts blabbing on about today being about renewal, rebirth, and stripping away her ego. MJ finally gets to the point of all this, which she doesn’t really end up explaining, but throws a bunch of her tacky old jewelry, makeup, and birth control in the casket to be buried along with this episode.

MJ is finished and awkwardly holds the lid of the casket open, then looks at Tommy expectantly. Uhhh, like this isn’t predictable. A few seconds go by and he realizes this is his cue for his “surprise” proposal. As the hug and cry, Vida is the only one who looks confused but everyone else knows this is coming and isn’t surprised at all.

Tommy is really bawling here and I would have been touched if they hadn’t just called each other baby one hundred times. MJ can’t even pretend to look surprised and covers her face as Tommy drops to one knee. She says yes and they smash faces. Doves are released to mark the joyous occasion but not so quick, Vida storms off and we are left hanging with a “To Be Continued”. Vida Dearest isn’t about to let this end on a happy note.

It was painfully obvious that Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s mother Vida Javid was not at all supportive when Tommy Feight proposed to her daughter at that super weird renewal themed party in the cemetery. A graveyard is not the ideal place to start a life together, but I totally see what Tommy was going for with the symbolism.

Honestly, I actually think that Tommy and MJ are a good couple. Plus, he is more entertaining than the actual cast members on Shahs of Sunset so I appreciate his screen time. Things seemed up in the air for the couple, so I was a little surprised when Tommy revealed that he asked MJ’s dad for permission to propose. So I can’t even imagine how shocked MJ was when he popped the question.

MJ seemed to be moving at a pretty fast pace with their relationship. I mean, come on, they moved into together and had his sperm tested to see how fertile he was, but then they had some issues and broke up so it was hard to gauge where they really were in their relationship. As a fan I was pumped to see them get engaged. Like I said before, Tommy is a lot better than most of the actual cast members.

Not only was MJ surprised (just like I was), but she still had a surprising take on it. During The Shahs Come Clean with Nadine after show, MJ said, “I had no idea. We talked about marriage. We talked about it, but we were still barely off the heels of, like, a Tinder fling, come on.” I feel like comparing her relationship to a Tinder fling wasn’t exactly the nicest thing to say. If they actually did talk about marriage already, it wasn’t that off base for Tommy to pop the question. 

I’m sure MJ is happy to be off the market, but her take on the proposal is still a little strange.

This season of Shahs of Sunset comes to a close tonight!

On tonight’s episode Reza and Adam discuss having children together. If they do decide to, let’s hope Adam is the one teaching the kids manners.

Also, Mike Shouhed makes the decision to move forward without Jessica Parido – not that he has much choice at this point since she doesn’t want him back.

GG and Reza have a blowout argument at Asa’s photography project unveiling.  Because everyone loves to ruin Asa’s events, I guess.

Also on tonight’s season finale, MJ accepts Tommy’s marriage proposal even though Vida strongly disapproves.

Because Bravo loves to keep us on our toes – the Shahs of Sunset reunion episodes will also air this week – on Tuesday (9/8cst) and Wednesday night (10/9c).

Tonight on Watch What Happens Live, Andy was joined by Real Housewives of New Jersey newbie Dolores Catania and Shahs of Sunset‘s Reza Farahan. Dolores was quizzed on how much Teresa Giudice has changed since prison and more, while Reza sniped at Golnesa again.

Andy starts off by asking Reza why the cast (aside from Asa) didn’t stick up for MJ with Vida after the engagement? “Culturally, that’s just not what you do.” Andy then asks him if it was a smart move to buy a Palm Springs investment property without seeing it? “Yeah, it was. Just because of what it’s worth now.”

Andy asks Dolores to share her thoughts on some old RHONJ drama. 

On Teresa flipping the table: “I wasn’t surprised, I knew it was coming.”

What’d she think of Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice fighting on the therapy retreat? “I knew the two therapists couldn’t handle it right off the bat. They were out of their league.”  Does she think Teresa was at all to blame for the brawl? “I don’t think that I would’ve came out and told my husband what happened because it kind of did instigate.” 

Was she in the middle of the rift between Dina Manzo and Caroline Manzo? “No, I always stay neutral, especially with family. When they get back together you’ll be on the outs.”

What did she think when Joe called Teresa “his bitch wife” on the phone at the vineyard. “I don’t know. How did Teresa feel about it is more important.”

When Jac confronted Teresa about the tabloids saying she was going to jail, did Teresa ever tell Dolores she had jail time coming up? “No, actually I saw Teresa the week before she was going in and she made lunch plans with me the day she was leaving. I don’t think she thought it was really gonna happen.”

Andy moves on to Reza. He plays a clip from tonight’s Shahs of Sunset finale and asks Reza what possessed him to write those apology notes, pretending they were from GG? “Everyone in the group deserved an apology. She’s done really disgusting, horrible things to all of us for the past five years. I thought honestly that if she heard it out loud and saw the emotion that came over everyone when they read the letters, she would break out into tears, kiss everyone, apologize.” He says he thought they’d have a Persian kumbaya moment.

Does Dolores think that Teresa has changed since coming back from prison? “I don’t think people change. I don’t feel she had to change, but I feel she’s calmed down, her temper’s under control and I think it takes a lot more to make her mad.”

On the rumors that Reza filed bankruptcy, Reza says that someone else named Reza filed in Orange County and Funky Dineva didn’t realize it wasn’t him.

A caller asks Reza why he’s obsessed with GG’s health and life. “I have apologized to her, but GG is a very sick individual and R.A. is the least of her worries. I wish her and her family the best, but she really should work on her mental health as much as she gets chemotherapy.”

Is it hard for Dolores to be friends with both Teresa and Jacqueline while they’re feuding? “It’s hard to watch, but it’s not hard to be both of their friend.”

A viewer asks Reza why he’s always getting into other people’s business? Does he think there are times he goes overboard? “Sure, I love hard, I care hard and it’s one of my attributes and also one of my downfalls.”

Dolores shares that she was a Sheriff’s officer for about six years, working in the jail and transporting prisoners.

Did Adam approve (or know) about Reza writing the fake GG letters? “Adam is so amazing, he’s super thoughtful and he’s really kind and I did not share with him what was going down just because I didn’t want anyone to know what was up. I wanted it to be something that was never talked about.”

Reza says he didn’t notice that MJ is wearing her engagement ring on the wrong finger when fans point it out.

What does Dolores think about the way that Joe Gorga treats Melissa? “He’s old school. He wants her home and that was the deal when they got married. It’s not for everybody.”

Poll Question: Whose side are you on? GG or Reza? GG won with 63% of the votes.  Reza says it was probably only four people that voted: GG, GG’s cousin, GG’s mom and some other random person.

This season of Shahs of Sunset has run the gamut of ridiculous story lines, some of which we have seen play out at an excruciating slow pace. The dissolution of Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido’s marriage would be the first one that comes to mind. The breakdown of the friendship (again) between Reza Farahan and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi would be another. 

Meandering and predictable story lines aside (ahem, another business venture from the High Priestess of ADD, Asa Soltan Rahmati), we did see one relationship on the fast track: Mercedes “MJ” Javid and lovable lug Tommy Feight.

That’s right – these two crazy kids are engaged! Release the doves! Change the robes of the choir from black to white (when did that happen??)! Let the world rejoice…unless of course, you are Vida. In that case, don’t celebrate; make sure you RUIN the moment completely. As Vida rages, the confused choir hums awkwardly and Tommy paws his new bride-to-be because honestly, what is hotter than agreeing to spend the rest of your lives together while standing in front of a casket?

The passion subsides and Tommy, clearly drunk in love and throwing all caution into the wind, approaches Vida to talk to her. He tearfully (and real ones at that) explains that he already asked MJ’s father for permission and he hopes that Vida will accept him into her life. He is unfazed by her theatrics as he tries hard to win her over; God bless this guy. Either Tommy really doesn’t have a brain in his head, or we should canonize him right now. Ignoring Tommy, Vida ups the ante by asking if anyone has a magnifying glass to see MJ’s ring. MJ claims to love it but we all know she upgraded it the moment they left the cemetery because that is definitely not the same ring she was flashing around on social media. It’s also on her right hand, not her left.

GG is getting her hair dyed the color of her soul and Asa, dressed like the Persian Dick Tracy in mourning, comes in toting her camera to capture GG in all of her self-absorbed glory. After getting photographed, GG talks about how much she is worried about dealing with Reza but will go to Asa’s art show because she can’t turn down a free drink and some camera time. GG is sounding really calm and normal about the whole thing, saying she won’t even look in Reza’s direction. I think we all know how that’s going to work out once she gets some Tito’s in her.

Reza and new husband, Adam Neely, are heading to Palm Springs so they can scoop up an all cash foreclosure property. They arrive at their newest acquisition and Reza is talking about how adorable this seventies relic of a cat litter box is while Adam acknowledges that they are now slumlords. They now have three properties together and Adam would like to finally get a place of their own and have kids. Yep, you’re definitely slum lord status when you own multiple properties, don’t actually live in any of them, and continue renting yourself. Adam wants to talk kids but Reza wants to talk about living out that Hart to Hart lifestyle (another nod to the seventies).

Asa’s mother, Zinat, stops by with an OK! Magazine to see if the kaftan show made the pages, which it has. Asa is thrilled and so is her mom, probably because she would like to start getting paid now. Zinat says there are wonderful days ahead of them and Asa knows one day, they will look back on this moment through a haze of kaftans and remember their humble beginnings. Now get back to work, Zinat!

Time for more mother/daughter bonding with MJ and Vida meeting for tea. Vida thinks Tommy ruined the day for her when he proposed to MJ and she didn’t know about it, probably because Vida saw how staged it looked. MJ is quick to point out it wasn’t about her. MJ took her Grown Ass Woman pills this morning because she expresses herself perfectly, reassuring Vida how much she loves her, how they will always be bonded as mother and daughter, she loves and respects her but she doesn’t want Vida to disrespect or hurt Tommy. Instead of actually hearing the words, Vida snaps that she guesses MJ is just going to abandon her. MJ keeps her cool, stands her ground, and chooses to leave the wedding drama for next season.

Mike and Reza meet up to do some working out but instead, end up flapping their gums on a park bench. We started this season with Mike (in the same exact t-shirt), lapping stairs with his wife and looking very much in love. Now he can barely keep up the pace with Reza and has to sit down in a coughing fit.

Reza starts talking about GG and how great Mike is for showing her compassion after all they went through. It turns out, MJ pulled Reza aside when they left Belize to tell him that GG is claiming to have a video of Reza giving a BJ to someone at the gym. Reza says this is a lie that could destroy his marriage and his career. I think that’s a bit of a stretch, especially since it’s a lie, right?

It’s Asa’s big night and the gallery show starts now that all the err, pieces of art are blown up to scale and duct taped to the wall. Classy! As Mike looks at all the happy couples photos, he sadly realizes he is on his own. Then we pan to MJ and Tommy’s photo series and the look of disorientation on MJ’s face in each photo is nothing short of hilarious.

Shervin Roohparvar, GG, and Annalise arrive and you can tell Annalise is wondering when the next flight back to Australia is. Asa, who is high off duct tape fumes, gathers the 20 people who showed up and makes a little speech about togetherness, even though the person she is “together with” isn’t there. I wish Jermaine would throw us a bone and make an appearance from time to time.

A surprise flower delivery shows up for Asa and she reads the card out loud – it’s a very awkward apology from GG, admitting how mean she has been and how she has called her a transvestite in the past. Mike, Shervin, MJ and finally, Reza all receive flowers and equally awkward apology notes. Very specific apology notes. Almost too specific because for someone like GG, who is three sheets into the wind 95% of the time, she sure remembers every insult she hurled.

Just as Zinat is moved to tears by them all hugging in forgiveness, the proverbial music stops and Reza announces that it wasn’t GG who sent the flowers and wrote the notes – it was HIM. Dun dun dun! GG is confused but I can’t understand how?! Did she really think she wrote those letters? Reza says they all deserved an apology from GG and since she wouldn’t do it, he decided to take the lead because he’s coming from a place of “compassion and hope”. SNORT. Reza really is the scumbaggiest friend I have ever seen. 

Chaos ensues and GG hits the bar. Asa tries to calm her down with some ridiculous logic that GG should own what the apologies are, since they are true, and totally ignore the shade in how Reza executed the whole thing. Asa tries to give some positive spin speech about love, patience, and forgiveness, with MJ interrupting her the whole time. Even MJ, high on the positivity that only a newly engaged person could be crazy enough to understand, doesn’t want to hear this crap.

Reza blows a gasket and asks GG if she has a video of him blowing a gasket of a different kind on someone else at the gym. GG plays dumb and slurs her way through a snide apology but this time, I don’t blame her at all. Asa keeps trying to interject with stories of togetherness and GG finally decides she’s had enough Tito’s to throw her drink, kick off her heels and chase Reza down like a chicken who just escaped from the coop!

Shervin tries desperately to catch her but his pants are too tight and don’t offer much mobility. GG charges Adam and Reza lets him take one for the team as Shervin catches up to GG and tries to put her in a sleeper hold. Leila magically appears and I cannot understand how she made it outside so fast in those giant Louboutin heels, but I’m not mad at all because Leila looks fabulous while trying to wrangle her deranged sister.

Reza and Adam jump into a car and speed off. GG is lulled to a state of half sleep while she smokes her cigarette outside and talks about how hard they love one another. Are we going to end every season with GG at odds with everyone? Looks like for now, the answer is still yes.

The Shahs of Sunset reunion kicks off tonight and if the preview clips are any indication, I’m going to need lots of wine to get through it.

The reunion starts off with Mike Shouhed discussing his split from Jessica Parido.  Andy brings up the nasty Tweets Reza Farahan and MJ Javid both sent to Jessica once she went public (on social media) with a new guy.  They both feel that Jessica thought Mike was going to be her gravy train (hahaha, as if!) and call her a gold digger. You gotta love how hard they’re trying to make us forget that Jessica left him because he’s a cheater.

We’ll be seeing some heavy Jessica bashing (and I’m sure plenty of “poor Mike” chants) and then move on to Golnesa and Reza’s falling out.  Also known as Reza’s How To Destroy Your Friendships tour 3.0.  (MJ was version 1.0, with Lilly being 2.0)

Tonight we’ll also have Vida making an appearance to share her opinions on the MJ and Tommy engagement.  Apparently Asa Soltan Rahmati and MJ have some issues to resolve, too. 

Sounds like it’s going to be a night filled with drama. You might want to put a protective screen on your TV to shield it from flying objects.

As an aside: While the Shahs cast is sniping about Jessica being a gold digger, she’s busy hustling and making that money on her own.

Following part one of the Shahs of Sunset reunion, Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Real Housewives of New York star Carole Radziwill are Andy‘s guests on Watch What Happens Live tonight. Carole’s boyfriend Adam is the bartender.

Carole gushes over the Shahs of Sunset, “It is authentic; it is real. You guys really love each other, and when you hate each other, you really hate. It is the difference between great reality and…” MJ interjects, “Fluff.”

Andy plays the “Gloating while Boating” clip of Luann de Lesseps for Carole. Carole says she has never seen Luann happier. MJ, who is just as incapable of keeping her mouth shut as she is of keeping her boobs inside her clothing, says Luann is way over the top with the whole relationship. Carole admits she’s a little bit over the top, but adds, “But it was actually really sweet.”

On part one of the Shahs of Sunset reunion, Asa Soltan Rahmati says MJ is a bitter and jealous person who isn’t capable of being a loyal friend.

“She will never produce a shred of truth of me ever anything but not supporting her,” MJ tells Andy. “She will never have my friendship back. She’s already pandered for it – off camera. She is completely off base. She got offended by a back-handed compliment from my mother. Then she decided to go on this weird haze campaign. I underestimated her as a human being.”

Andy shows a clip of part two of the reunion, on which Reza Farahan storms off the set, in tears, after a confrontation with Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi. MJ insists that GG and Asa lack vulnerability.

Luann, Ramona, and Sonja‘s relationship style according to Carole:

Andy asks MJ why she initially put her engagement ring on her right hand. She says it wasn’t the right size. Then, she admits the 1 CT. ring is no longer, and she now has a 2 CT. ring. “We’re not going to get it twisted,” she adds. “I’m glad he gave me a bigger ring.”

MJ shares that she will marry Tommy even if her mom, Vida, never approves.

“I would like to get married,” says MJ. “My mom is not my husband. She is my mom and I will always respect her but falling in love is something that…I’m over 40. I have never settled and I finally found love. We are not perfect, but fingers crossed, we will get married.”

Did Carole see Jules Wainstein‘s divorce coming? “No. I heard little things here and there from the very beginning of the season but I do not listen to too much talk of the town. On the show, I didn’t spend that much time with her. I only met Michael once, and I thought he was very nice. On the show, you can see that they seemed perfectly fine.”

A caller asks MJ what she would say to Jessica Parido if she ran into her on the street. “Shame on you. Stop using us. I’m sorry that you thought that Mike was going to get you a Rolls-Royce, a Rolex, and a Chanel.”

MJ continues to trash Jessica, “She 100% left Mike and moved in with that Armenian. She bounced. When I was calling out the situation back in July, August, September, whenever it was, that’s because she jumped off. First three months and you are out with another man in his apartment? Um, yeah, I would just play back her life for her.”

Carole is like, um, didn’t Mike Shouhed cheat on Jessica?! MJ says, “Way, like, three years ago.”

Next, MJ and Carole play a riveting game of “Is It Heavier Than MJ’s Boobs?”
